Biobalance CoQ10 is a dietary supplement which is designed to deliver the important coenzyme Q10 to the cells and tissues that need it to produce energy. Coenzyme Q10 supplements are also often used because they protect cardiovascular health. Formula
The active ingredient of the supplement is coenzyme Q10. Each capsule contains 160 mg of coenzyme Q10. It is an important molecule in the process of cellular respiration, which is the set of chemical processes that a cell uses to produce energy. Coenzyme Q10 takes part in the third phase of cellular respiration. This third phase, called oxidative phosphorylation, produces up to 95% of the energy that a cell requires for its metabolic processes.
Coenzyme Q10 is also a powerful antioxidant. Oxidants are produced during normal cellular metabolism. The major form of oxidants in the cell are oxygen free radicals. If allowed to build up, these free radicals cause cell damage and subsequent inflammation. Chronic inflammation can lead to conditions such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
The active ingredient is encased inside a cellulose capsule with rice flour, magnesium stearate and colloidal silicon dioxide as packing materials.
Directions
The suggested dosage for the supplement is one or two capsules per day. This supplement should be taken with food to maximize its absorption.

One package of Biobalance CoQ10 is available for purchase online, costing $40. Each package contains 90 capsules which, depending on use, is a 45-day or 90-day supply. There does not appear to be any discount offered for buying several packages at once.

Biobalance CoQ10 – The Bottom Line
Biobalance delivers a supplement which uses all natural ingredients that are free from gluten, dairy and genetically modified organisms and are safe for vegetarian and vegan use. There are some serious faults with this supplement though. The amount of coenzyme Q10 contained in one capsule is lower than the highest available amount of coenzyme Q10 on the market. Perhaps that is why the manufacturer may recommend that two capsules can be taken, but their directions for use of ambiguous as to how many capsules should be taken, so results will vary from customer to customer. If two capsules are taken daily the supplement will also run out twice as fast. Considering these factors, we therefore also consider the price of the supplement to be quite high and the lack of a guarantee means that this product is a risky purchase.
